This series has been constructed from records that had not been maintained in original order in storage, and part of the series had also been damaged by water and mould in 2017 and recovered in 2018. The series has been arranged to represent the apparent function of the records.

Function / Content

This series consists of further submissions to the Royal Commission into the Chamberlain Convictions. The majority of submissions were provided by the Crown or on behalf of the Chamberlains in response to a request from Justice Morling for written submissions on specific topics such as "the state of lighting in the barbeque area", "amount of of blood found in the tent" and "any new evidence". Included are submissions from the Ombudsman for New South Wales regarding forensic processes.
